Climbing Birthday Party
Climbing parties are a fantastic way to add fun adventure to your child's birthday celebration. Join coach-led climbing instruction and games along with some spelunking in our indoor cave. CityROCK provides two coaches, help with setting up, basic party decor, and a complimentary t-shirt for the birthday kiddo. Options of pizza and party favors are available as add-ons to your event.
Ages: 7-14
Duration: 2.5 hours
Maximum Guest Count: No more than 8 child participants and no more than 8 parent/guardian spectators.
Set Up: Host may arrive 15 minutes early for set up.
Through coach-led activities, participants will:
- Be introduced to climbing basics
- Learn how to properly fit a climbing harness and shoes
- Learn how to clip in, climb, and descend using an auto-belay
- Climb and play fun climbing games
- Have the opportunity to explore CityROCK's indoor cave
Climbers should wear clothes that allow a full range of motion and activity. Generally, "active" pants and full-length T-shirts are recommended, as the climbing harnesses can be rough on exposed skin. Included in the booking for up to 8 participants are rental harnesses and rental shoes. Participants are strongly encouraged to wear thin socks. Please note, sandals, slip-ons, or slides are not permitted on the climbing walls or in the cave.
All participants, spectators, and supervisors will need a current CityROCK waiver.
